E!, DavidG I'm going to listen to the conference call and check out the AMAT thread. Let's see if logic suggests buy or sell. I've been fooled by after-hours trades before - the run-up in the stock from 28+ to 37 3/4 in less than a week may be a reason to sell but let's see what Jim Morgan has to say. E! the major foundries are in the far east - TSMC, Anam etc they are operating at or near capacity and have to continue to build - my understanding (as expected) is no push-outs (yet). I think logic and analog and microprocessors are still very strong and DRAM who knows? The backlog of 1.7 billion or so is impressive... But will check c.call. And see what SEA impact is indicated. Taiwan and S.Korea developments are new but still think companies have to build or perish at this stage. Not yet overcapacity in logic, analog and microprocessors and DRAM 64MB. But will find out soon enough. Over and out.

Does anyone know of the possible impacts (if any) that IBM might have on LSI? Please see: techweb.com
