Excellent points and questions. When illegals are given a "legal status," the next step for Democrats and RINOs at that point is to say, "Wait. This isn't right either. They are being taxed, but they're not allowed to vote? Taxation without representation! Make them full citizens now and correct this grave social injustice!" Bull$hit! Deport them all now, and all of their anchor babies/descendants. Speed the process up by identifying 10,000 or so of the wealthier illegals, freezing all of their assets on U.S. soil, and making a big deal about doing that. I can guarantee you, if the government would simply take that one basic step, Congress would have to release emergency funds to the Department of Transportation to resurface all southbound lanes to Mexico due to extremely heavy short-term usage. People typically laugh when I make that comment about road resurfacing, but I am no joking and I don't mean for it to be funny. I'm completely serious. Roads would likely become damaged because of the sudden mass exodus. Once the massive first wave is gone, send out ICE to find and remove the remainder, and also identify those who are harboring, aiding, and abetting illegals.
