I had a rare opportunity to see into this process more than most, and in fact the current rise couldn't have taken place if the VC funds which hold most of the stock had not signalled their considerable confidence in the future of the company by refraining (mostly) from selling their shares on lockup expiration.

I agree that the underwriter's recommendations are generally good contrarian indicators. Just wanted to point out your (only?) misstep; the value of this company has nothing to do with its current PE, and you let your own success at calling the highs carry you away on the low side. IMHO.
