DH, Problems are due to a lack of bottom fishers. Volume is very low, back to pre July 95 levels. The only activity is tax loss selling but bottom fishers all figure that the next Q's results will be worse than the last. (Read the last 10Q carefully, about loss of IOM and Rockwell and what percentage of sales this represents). So you have buyers standing on the sidelines and sellers just wanting to get rid of this stock and take their tax loss this year. Remember that despite the last couple of months the tech stocks had a great 97. So a lot of people have huge trading gains so they ca afford to take their losses especially since a turn-around is not expected before Mar 98. With this in mind where else can the stock go but down. Now having said this lets look at what we fundamentally have. 1) A speciality high voltage 1 micron BiCMOS fab 2) A product direction that is alligned to their fab Capabilities 3) Costs are under control ( the bleeding has all but stopped ) 4) New Products are targeted at high Gross Margin segments 5) It seems that all the Class Action suits have died This company is positioned for a turn-around but the bottom line needs to change before large investors will take a second look. When it changes I'm convinced that this stock will pop-up to around $2.30 - $2.50 an area that it has shown strong resistance in the past. Anyway just my thoughts. Slob
