I can readily accept everything you say here, but the legitimate and central question remains: don't you think it's possible, even reasonable, that he's matured over the years and has become more conservative than what he was 20 or more years ago? GZ

"Gingrich as president riding rough shod over a Republican majority in the House and Senate and co-opting the RINOs is much more dangerous than Obama as president being blocked in his legislative and policy goals." Let me see if I understand this. You don't have a problem with Obama making appointments to fill vacancies on the United States Supreme Court through 2016. Is that your position? Frankly it scares the HELL out of me.
