Erika and I were talking this am and she said we need to live in a smaller town that would be more defensible in the event of a societal breakdown. She read "One Second After" and it freaked her out.

it makes a lot of sense. Many people will be reluctant to leave their homes and belongings. If you live in a population center this could be a fatal decision.
