Look what they got us to do: spend trillions of dollars bankrupting us, give up our civil liberties and transfer "unconstituional power" to the government e.g. suspension of habeus corpus. We engaged in a national hysteria. 9/11 was terrible, but only warranted a police action. They were jsut a bunch of stupid zealots. We should have set the Rangers and Seals loose on them. They would have wrapped it up in a few months and we would not have needed to spend all that money or give up our civil liberties. Of course, what really happened was bush/cheney used 9/11 to rape our country and got a bunch of people to do the dirty work for them by scaring them. What is most frustrating is the ones who unwittingly carried the water for the neo cons still have no idea it was a ruse and they were simply pawns in a cynical undertaking by ruthless people.
