From the press release:

Three Morpho FlexScan workstations were installed in March at PGJDF headquarters in Mexico City. ''The system was so well received,'' says Morpho president and CEO Jean-Marc Suchier, ''that in September the PGJDF ordered twelve additional workstations for installation throughout the city, including six workstations designed for capturing fingerprint images without ink.''

I would guess this means 6 TP600's and about $400-500k for IDX in sales.

jerald,

Not that it will change the way you feel.....

But Identix did not put out this announcement......Morpho did.

It should please you that Morpho unseated Printrak....and that Morpho is still doing business with Identix. Even if Morpho had listed all of the money paid to those who supplied anything that was associated with this win...the dollar amount would not have moved IDX.......As I said....throw it on the pile. Perhaps there will be more cities added to the Mexico City afis.......Mexico City is the heart of Mexico and the nation's capital.......Communication lines tend to go there.

The market is up bigtime, we've had two good news days and....we're down again.

Considering you can take the last two days volume added together and multiply it by two, you still don't equal the volume from two days ago.

The TA indicators I follow using AIQ have taken the last two days in stride. Several of them are looking for higher prices.

We're one INS deal away from upward revisions from analysts on IDX. Read Kessler, Value Line, Soloman. None are counting the upcoming INS stuff in their estimates. It's icing on the cake.

Happily Long IDX,
Duke

Jerald,

This PR problem is not new with IDX....no doubt we need meat to go with our potatoes. And we need to see the money hitting the bottom line.

Good luck,

Rob
