Isis and her family seem to be a large part of the puzzle ....you are aware that Isis' mother was a Nut ? ;o) Just look up and there is NUT....She was "The Mother" to Isis and many others , she is the sky & the heavens and the oldest ...when you found Nut inside the paramid , just below was the Pharoah's tomb , Nut was always placed just above his tomb ...always was my fave . "Mother Nature" . ) Some of the titles of Nut were: - Coverer of the Sky: Nut was said to be covered in stars touching the different points of her body. - She Who Protects: Among her jobs was to envelop and protect Ra, the sun god. This ladder-symbol was called maqet and was placed in tombs to protect the deceased, and to invoke the aid of the deity of the dead. Nut is considered an enigma in the world of mythology because she is direct contrast to most other mythologies, which usually evolve into a sky father associated with an earth mother or Mother Nature.
