AS great as the pyramids were , they did tend to be a little on square side but humans had to start somewhere and its the most obvious place to start (pyramid=mountain=close to NUT) . Its when you get to the point of imagining golden spirals , spheres & elipses that you really start to to catch a clue . Time is an elipse , space travel there is no such thing as straight line.... the round earth spinning and moon around it ,then both orbiting around a sun that itself is in orbital motion around a galactic center . Little wheels spinning , while big wheels turn round & around while the whole thing goes on expanding... truely dizzying when you construct & imagine all these relative motions together . ( Even that is an illusion, but we can land a vehicle with feet on the moon or Mars, there is the math to do so )

And "time" adds another dimension of the golden spiral over all these motions and the distortions from gravity .

Funny just caught this little love story set in Cairo this evening that was set right in among the pyramids , our dear friend actor Dr Bashir from Deep Space Nine Alexander Siddig and Elena Anaya Patricia Clarkson, and they took walks right up into the steps of the great one ...does give you a sense of "time" for sure .

Wished they'd just restore the Sphinx , know it would be sacriliege & blaspheme ...these are pagan symbols all and the Islamists haven't destroyed them like the Buddha statues in Afghanistan ? Guess when it comes to the bottom line & making tourist $$$$ we find it useful to be most tolerant .
