Perhaps it is interesting that in the past week (less than seven days) not one but two of my clients told me that they have no choice but to file bankruptcy, they have sold all their gold and there is nothing more to sell. Both ladies poorer than church mice so I assume they sold little pieces of 14 karat gold jewelry. Perhaps you understand the psychology. It would have been lawful for them to file without selling the jewelry first, unless it was worth more than $5K, which I doubt.
