There's a ton of stuff you can get right on macro in the long run and suck at investing ... but I still think it is important to see the big picture.

The pertinent question is whether or not printing succeeds at floating a basket of prices when there is a debt bubble. Mish said no. I stand by that. Is it over?? no. But we are fixing to get a serious world-wide test.

I'll admit I haven't look at his pf or recommendations -- the last bit I saw he was talking with Faber and they were both cautiously interested in Japanese equities -- right before the Tsunami. I have followed any investment recommendations.

I expect to see the Fed hinting "QE3" soon, gauging the reaction of the markets. It's coming just like night follows day.
