This isn't for religious reasons. They simply have not been able to find Three Wise Men in the Nation's Capital. And though a search for a Virgin continues, it appears to be futile. However, there was no problem finding enough asses to fill the stable, there are millions of sheep, and the pig trough was extremely overcrowded.
