Another spin off? My head is spinning from the number of spinoffs and split ups recently. Ha!

My position in NST mergers next week into NU, I think it is. Starts with an N anyway. PGN is merging with DUK. ABT is spinning off. COP is spinning off, and now SDRL is spinning off.

And all this time, I thought I was in it for a nice boring ride. Nothing boring here!

Did the last spin off for SDRL unlock any underlying value for SDRL shareholders? I have not followed this stock long enough to know the effect of the last spin off to the share price. It looks like shares of the new company are not going to be distributed to shareholders.
