Tom: Just curious as to why you're hoping it doesn't gap up? Also, I havn't found the harami to be very high on my list of reliable patterns.....have you? Plus, strictly speaking, I think this would be considered an inside day rather than a harami because the body size indicates a tad too much disagreement between the open and the close (but what's in a name--it's the underlying significance or interpretation that matters). Volume was none too impressive today also. One more thing: I wondered if you're using the technicals you have shown because they don't correlate with a bullish tendency too well (but I don't generally look at these types of scenarios--I'm more of a breakout to new highs buyer--so perhaps you view the technicals under these conditions from a different perspective than I do).

Tom; RE:" GATE; Penny Stocks; ADR's... "

...looks like you got a kinda-sorta Hammer on GATE today, Tom.

OTOH, tuning in to big brother GTW, took a hit from MUEI's announcement today; looks nasty! - but may recover if Michael DELL can blow out earnings after close on Monday, n'est-ce pas ?

These penny-stox are so hard to read (so thin). Man, you got cajones trading those things !

ADR's (foreign stox traded in the US) are also difficult, sometimes. Check out these (BIG, overseas) stox:

PHG - Phillips Electronics (Netherlands) alliance with our LUcent
NOK.A - Nokia (Finland) wireless
ERICY - Ericsson (Sweden) wireless
SAPHY - S.A.P. (Germany); the second biggest software company
NHY - Norsk Hydro (Norway), a monster oil/industrial conglomerate

There's all kinds of GAPS in their charts. I assume that these are caused by the fact that they are traded in TWO markets, affecting one another from day-to-day? Also, perhaps - currency fluctuations ...? Anyone else trading ADR's using candlesticks ?
