Is it just me or this comment "David Wahl President and CEO stated, "We are in the unfortunate position of having to release excellent results into a soft market during tax-loss selling season," is about one of the most pathetic statement you could expect ?

Looks like coming out from an IR guy / stock promoter rather than a level headed CEO. If he is concerned about the SP level maybe they should have gotten their act together to get the results out in a timely manner first. We were expecting the damn assay results to come out as early as June as per their early promises way back when FED IPOed !!!

you picked up a very good point. I have never seen such a comment in a press release before.
I have written many and read thousands. I have also met David Wahl and know a bit about his history. Nothing bad to consider.

I can only surmise that these words were to reflect the huge amount of frustration he must feel in this market that somehow made it onto paper. There's nothing really patently wrong with those words but is one of those things that "it's just not done". Any decent CEO does care about the stock price and will and should stage-manage everything to make the best impression on the market, all within the bounds of legality. This is what I expect of a CEO, though there are many cases that show deviation from this. All in all I think it should be taken as a sign of the times and the market.
