We have far too many reeds that sway with every wind that comes along. Too many christians and christian preachers that would rather win friends and influence people, instead of warning them about times to come. God's last words in the OT are: Mal 4:5-7 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. 7 THE END OF THE PROPHETS. Remember what the Angel of the Lord spoke unto Zacharias concerning the birth of his son John; Luke 1:17 17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. Matt 17:10-13 10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? 11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. 12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. 13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist. Could it be that IF John our blessed brother had been received in the spirit and power of Elias, that maybe Malachi would have been fulfilled? However this time there will be no mistaking the power of Elias.! Many even non-christians have a knowing that someting is happening.! The two witnesses are nigh! Jane if you want to start another thread devoted to God I think that would be good. Not sure what you mean by;"just some place that cannot be controlled by the little mouth". Also not sure what you mean about being a little silly!...God truly is serious business. I think in general though the idea is a good one, and if you feel led to do it then by all means follow your heart, but more importantly be guided by the Holy Spirit of God. It is an awesome responsibility Jane. If we put ourselves out to be leaders, even in this type of forum, we better be prepared to lead people in the right direction and there is only one way....God will accept nothing less.
