You are not trying. The choice is between the Republican's and Democrat's. That is all we have. And the real problem is that we do not have public financing of campaigns which the dems have been fighting for 50 years and the right wing has prevented. Almost all the good guys in congress are in the Democratic party. That is the thesis of the situation and our only real hope. If the poor would vote democratic we could pull ourselves out of these problems.
