Macy's CEO: We're Having the Best 2 Years in a Decade

There's a bull market in the best run American retailers right now, “Mad Money” host Jim Cramer said Thursday. Just look at Cramer fave Macy’s, which is up 24 percent year-to-date.

“Macy’s [M Loading... The company recently posted “superb” same-store sales growth for November, beating analysts’ expectations with a 4.8 percent increase. That’s on top of its “fabulous” Black Friday numbers and the strong quarter it reported back in November.

"We're having the best years, in fact back-to-back two years, in a decade, so things are going very, very well," Macy's Chairman and CEO Terry Lundgren told Cramer.

And if the weather turns cold, it would be an extra boost for the retailer.

Well, you exasperate me. You and RW are sounding more and more like the dogmatic GOP members on the Politics of Climate thread. Using short term data points to make assertions about long term trends is really an ignorant thing to do. It shows a complete lack of understanding on some very basic concepts.

What's the problem, MM? We can't disagree with your doomer outlook? You sound like every other R and their rants since Obama took office. Unfortunately, the facts are not supporting your prognosis. What supports your prognosis are other doomers and their speculations. Yet, you want me and RW to roll over and play dead and accept those speculations as fact. Can't speak for RW but that doesn't work for me.
