As usual, you are working off bad information. Who the ho heck is Bansod? He doesn't know what he is talking about. yes, I can play the Nina Palay video on the front page of html5video.org. Your old iPhone 3G can play that video. The original iPhone 2G can play that video. Remember when the iPhone launched without Flash and they strong armed Google into reencoding the entire YouTube catalog in H.264 so it can be wrapped in a open standard HTML5 website compatible with the iPhone?

In fact, I'd be shocked if the your old gingerbread phones couldn't play that video. My wp7 phone can.

They don't play the inline video on that site's first page, but I note that they get a different version of the page.

But there's a whole page of HTML5 videos on that site, all of which play fine on iOS.
