The bible was written by god. Can't you tell by the medical and moral knowledge such as the cure for leprosy and the diagnostic methodology of tracking down an adulterous wife by making her drink diseased offal off the ground and see what happens? And surely the precise historical accounts and the absence of myth or absurdity gives us an unfailing blueprint for trust. Furthermore, the bible acts as a moral guideline by exalting and praising role models such as Lot who offered both his daughters to be gang raped and later impregnates both of them and whom Yahweh call a Good, Just, and Righteous man. So one needs to prepare to be tortured forever by (what else) FIRE!! And if you don't believe that then you need to be a bit less critical. Wouldn't you rather live forever with Jesus discussing how demons cause illnesses and how to get them into pigs and then get rid of the pigs which doesn't get rid of the demons, of course, but slows them down while they fly back up and look for humans to inhabit once again. youtube.com
