I'm a bit surprised you don't seem to know of Greenwald. Over the last few years his blog writing has taken him from obscurity to regular appearances on msnbc, etc. From his bio: Glenn Greenwald is a former Constitutional and civil rights litigator and is the author of two New York Times Bestselling books on the Bush administration’s executive power and foreign policy abuses.
