In the beginning, I thought Coach Paterno was wronged and was a scapegoat, but not anymore. He pretty much convicted himself with his comments. I think many more of those university pinheads should fall as well, including that assistant coach who failed to call the police.

Still, it's impossible for me to sit here and know the full situation. I know how cover-ups work. If that assistant coach gambled and called the police as a lone witness and then all of his superiors said, "We don't know what's he's talking about. Coach Sandusky is a stellar guy and it simply never happened," the whistleblower's a$$ would be grass, as it so often is with these cases. Reprisal is often swift and brutal.

In the end, I would have called the police immediately and wagered on the truth coming out, plus, the minute I saw it happening, I would have started yelling out, "Coach Sandusky is raping a boy!!!" and I would have made a big commotion to attract other witnesses.
