Re:<"What word would you have them use to describe a future event?">

Well in my mind, if someone says "believes," "expects," "anticipates," etc... then, as a reasonable and honest man, he should have some reasonable and rational basis for making those statements.

For example, when Mr. Bordynuik said in the 2009 10-K, "The Company expects to begin commercial operations of converting waste plastic to oil in the second quarter of 2010." then I would I would *expect* that he has some reasonable and rational basis for saying he had that expectation. When his expectations catastrophically and inexplicably fall apart like they almost invariably do, I would expect some explanation of the sudden unexpected and unrecoverable event which caused those plans to fail. What happened to producing in Q2 2010?? Q3?? The Sousa 45 sites of early 2010?? The Heddle shipboard P2O sites?? The four joint ventures?? And more recently the 90-day drawings for the site to be built at RockTenn??

You can do the rough statistics in your head to see that either Mr. Bordynuik makes promises carrying absolutely no basis or he's the dumbest and unluckiest man in history who can't even explain why his 'plans' never come to fruition. Well, maybe 'unluckiest' isn't quite true--he pays himself well while he's busy delaying and shareholders picking up the tab are the unlucky ones.
