Damn - lost my post due to spastic click. Which just goes to show what I was writing - our brains are pathetic chimpoid appliances unfit for purpose. With Google and Siri, we are getting some extra-somatic help, hopefully sufficiently to take over most functions, leaving us in charge of what we are good at: eating, playing, mating, loafing around [perhaps with some judicious guidance on those functions to help us avoid major mistakes]. Is your brain really not overwhelmed already? <we need a giant information sieve.. our brains may become overwhelmed... not yet but maybe :O) > Mine realized long ago that it's a pathetic representation of reality, completely unfit for purpose.
