with tax selling gripping some, why not the suitor of asnd gather the position under the cover of these people selling? the problem becomes what if the acquirer has taken this into account and will have the necessary positon by the time the tax selling abates? now we have a balance again of buyer and seller, so we are back in equilibrium. but the possible suitor of asnd has its position, less a fraction until the suitor is ready to come forward, either friendly or hostile. just another chapter for your best seller.
