The Koran says muslims are to kill nonmuslims but the Law of Moses does not say anything like that for Jews. Qur'an: 9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war." The verse from the Law that was quoted pertained to the situation where a Jew was rebellious against a Jewish priest of their own religion. The Jewish Law actually spells out that foreigners in Israel are supposed to be well treated. Leviticus 19:34 The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt; I am the LORD your God. Granted that Christians during the Crusades are reported to have forced conversions by the sword...but nowhere does the bible either command or condone that.
