Paul, sounds like a test is in order. If you're interested in the results, I'll let you know, however the criteria you suggested would probably not make for a fair evaluation. One can't always expect stocks to have substantial swings in 2 weeks. Also, it is possible that only one trade (or perhaps none at all) would be recommended in that time period for most of the securities. I didn't get the impression that you were a two-week trader. That's probably for good reason, not the least of which being that strong trends don't always form in 10 trading days.

I don't claim to be an expert. Let me familiarize myself with it over the next few weeks and then if you're interested we can set up the parameters of the test together.

As a side note: I would hate to have the reputation of all TA in the minds of fence-sitters on this thread resting on the results of one individual (me). It doesn't seem statistically sound to have a sample size of one.
