DS think you may be right on your understanding . Tomorrow or Thurs will call Dennis about it . Both on the Machado delay and the Brazilian approvals . It is a little discouraging .

Native involvement in Canada is the kiss of death . Unless they are on side with it . When they are every thing gets fast tracked .

Not sure what happens in Brazil . Do know that around Easter they shut down for a week and probably 2 - 4 at Christmas .

For me it has become a yawn . Will make this one last phone call .

Talked to D. Milburn about your question . He said the law has been as you state but the Native groups are pushing for development as well as Brazilian Dept of Native Affairs .

Change will have to come from the National level first . Can happen quickly though with those 2 involved .

No news on Machado . Still waiting on the Govt .

Have signed on for use of a meeting room at PDAC . So will be presenting a discussion of project there .
