Sounds like they both had blackouts .............................................

I find it fascinating to think about how much language affects understanding, and how much understanding shapes convention.

The conventional way of saying they both had black outs suggests that they were suffused with clarity ( white ins ? ) on the inside, but oh, the nasty outside was a huge, huge problem. :)

Quite odd --- this business of how understanding and convention dance together, right before our eyes. It's no wonder that two can look at the same chart and one says UP and the other DOWN.

An olde English word geolu (yellow), and the Sanskrit (?) or indo-euro root root ghel (to shine) point to where
the world "gold" may have come from.

In the end, black-outs, white-ins and everything else ....... seem relentlessly tied to what is yellow or shiny.

Such a colorful world!
