I would tell you one thing...if CRAPple can not SELL 30mil iPhones on a quarter that it has an extra week AND the launch of much delayed new model (high pent up demand by isheep), then it is truly F.... You can diminish the achievement all you want, but for Apple to sell that many phones at their normal ASP will be the greatest quarter in the history of the handset business. I don't believe any handset manufacturer has ever recorded $18 billion dollars in handset revenue before. Certainly, no one has come close to $10 billion in gross profit. I think they will do it, and apparently, you think they will do it*, but breaking sales records and making history is usually hard. Apple biggest sin is that it makes it look easy. And yes, I'm aware that Android growth is also historical. Good for Android.
