Adolf Lundin on Malaysia: More than 40 structures remain to explore in PM-3, and we have identified low-risk (greater than 60% chance of success) exploration prospects. We expect gas reserves to increase fourfold, and oil reserves to more than double (from 110 to 250 million barrels of oil) during the 1998-99 drilling campaign.

The Falkland Islands: More exciting than anything else during 1998. Amerada Hess is likely to drill the first well in May, and success for Amerada will greatly increase the likelihood of success in the IPC tract. Potential fields are very large, 1 billion barrels of oil in the 3 prospects identified so far in IPC's block.

Sands Petroleum: 1997 average oil production around 9000 BOEPD, cash flow close to US$ 40 M. Sands is now producing 12,500 bopd in the North Sea and Malaysia, 1998 cash flow probably close to $50 M.
