I have never excused BP - their negligence and the following political and propaganda disaster cost me a lot of money. They should pay dearly - and they have.

My main point is that the damage subsequent and additional to the spill was caused by Obama shutting down and industry and the media scaring people away from the tourists areas.

I know it is fully unreasonable to expect politicians to behave rationally - anywhere in the world.
