who is they? The tools to do the deep water surveys are relatively new....past tools were not sufficient, we remember the incident from the data collection period when hard drives were stolen.... oil at depth is flowing through seeps all the time....natural fissures and cracks facilitate tapping deep seeps.... the levels of expertise are unevenly distributed, you yourself may get a ride on a ship to a location where your tour operator provides you with an overview....now your an expert...not a mouthpiece? But wait, your career isnt interested in hanging out on ships, its information transfer...so we all know what your going to do...
