As I said in a previous post, I don't think the next president is going to have much of an impact on things.

The only way we're going to see serious change occur, is to get the bastards in congress into a mindset that WE sent them there to do OUR job.

Term limits is the only way I see to deliver that message.




The bond market will eventually force the change. If it gets to that - think Greece.

It's going to take more than that. Elections cost a lot of money to win. Politicians are beholden to the deep pockets of their donors. Somehow we need to break that influence. That may involve public funding of a nominee and/or limitations on campaign spending.
