Good Morning , Peter

How well I remember when my friends very vital farm stopped producing.

The corn was grown to feed the cattle that produced milk for the local market for a whole county.

Then the Federal Government started "paying them not to farm"------mandated subsidy.

The land lay fallow until they turned it into a sleazy trailer park--------destroying the beauty of the land.

The corn was no longer grown, the rock quarry stopped producing limestone for construction and other purposes and was closed, and producing milk ceased. .

What was beautiful is gone--------that is what happened when the Federal Government regulated the farmers.

Now we have the organic farmers being told they can not sell or give milk to others------Federal Regs-----all in the name of protecting people from what might happen if they drink milk that isn't reduced to not being milk with the processing and the additives.

So now we produce corn for ethanol that is added to the gas in cars. We go to the gas station and see the sign, warning, that their gas is 10% ethanol. But no warning as to how ethanol may damage your vehicle.
