Lzzrd, have to run, but here is a quicky on SCTC....50 is breakout point...I would watch how it attacks 50, if she starts to lose momentum, I would short it...If not stand aside....ADX is weak at 17, so I have a feeling she has a good chance to be repelled near 50....However, if irrational exuberance wins the day again today, aloha for shorting....I have cover point on SCTC at 42.50....Nice return if she turns...RSI sits at 64, still not overheated....Pring KST is losing some steam, so I again question ability of stock to overcome 50.00...Thanks for the pick....I'll get to CHKPF before market open.... As to your comments about bull market, I don't disagree, however I feel the crisis in Japan is more serious than we are led to believe...If the Nikkei heads toward 14,000, I don't care how strong the US economy is, we are going to go down....Plus I am not convinced that the handslapping in the Persian gulf is over....I am trying to improve myself in shorting, and if we are in a Bull market it presents a greater challenge, and I like that....When the Bear finally arrives, I will be an expert at it.... Lizzard, ISLI that I mentioned the other day beat est. and had a gap of 2 yesterday. It might be one for watch list if it gets over 18.5. A little while back you gave a tip how you set up your portfolio in groups. I would like to add to that. I put the stocks in IBD Industry Group Focus from different groups each day. I just weed out the ones I want. I have come up with some very interesting plays that were on the cheap side before they took off.(SPIR 5.625,MTIC 7.125,and REAL 15.5)Keep an eye there its always producing new ones. I also like to state another about IBD they seem to point you in the direction of certain stocks, like here you go how much else can we tell you, BUY. I just love the paper every morning. I've made and lost on the market but one thing you find out you really do need to know your T.A. to make the most of your investments. I have found myself on the book- shelf going thru those old statistics books for a little refresher. So much talk have to go check a few. Best of Luck! b

Lzzrd, I did not do as indepth analysis on CHKPF as SCTC...Volume on CHKPF has slowed down on this price rise....20 day was at 76,755, opposed to 5 day at 61,110....Low volume rallies are always questionable...If she does not burst through 50 on volume over 100,000, a short potential is indeed evident.....Would short in the 50 neighborhood, look to cover at 46.00...Set Buy stop at 52......Regards, Mark P.S. Looking to short JRJR,SGI, and possibly RAYS....MRK is starting to look tempting as well.... But I will watch the broader market and the individual stocks before I do anything.... P.S.S. SHORTED SCOP again at 13 3/8...Maybe I can get this one right this time.... P.S.S. Am going to stay away from JRJR today...Looks like NOTH20 just bought 70,000 shares...That guy!!!
