Exactly. And either she is in the top 1% (or at least the top 2%), or she probably has a lower "EFFECTIVE federal personal income tax rate", than most CEOs or billionaires. I can't comment authoritatively about Buffet's own taxes unless he releases the information, but there is a decent chance he pays more than her.

If you consider his portion of ownership in corporations and a pro-rated share of the corporate taxes paid for that percentage than the chance moves from "decent" to "strong".

"The effective tax rate is reasonably likely to be under 15% (but if there is no mortgage or other large tax breaks involved, it might not be, we would really have to see the tax return to be sure)"
