From what I can see, Ron Paul's economic ideas are basically standard issue American brand of Austrian school of economics (try Mises.org). Which is fine. Incomparably better than other "models" - embraced by politicians because they help justify their grandiose ambitions (and spending).

A good site, btw. Lots of interesting and worthwhile stuff there.
