MHR: I'll follow and do the same. My high-cost shares bought early 2011 in $6's, so that'll be a loss on those shares. Rise today an opportune time (maybe) to sell presuming this volatile stock may go lower and afford consideration for reentering.

ESV: I've entered offshore driller Ensco now for a few shares. Low p/stated bv, steadily increasing bv, profitable every year past ten. ROE isn't so great now and profit margins have come down, although still good.

(I'm still holding DEJ, LEI, SSN, as well as several others mentioned here before.)

Magnum Hunter Resources Corpora (MHR) -NYSE
Gastar Exploration 8.625% Serie (GST-PA) -AMEX

Peeled off 15% of my MHR shares which now make up 31.86% of my E&P basket. Sold all of my higher priced shares bought at $4.07/share and higher bringing my avg cost down to $3.61/share. This brings MHR to 28% of my E&P basket with SSN (16%), VOG (10%) & LEI (8) my other top positions.

Still like the story about the company, their progress w/ their midstream subsidiary and their focus on oily wells vs NG wells.

I took the proceeds from the MHR sale and bought more GSTp preferred shares. The company is one of the few NG producers still profitable, have a very large Chinese investor that could make an offer for the company (especially in such a depressed NG market) and if so, the GSTp get paid back at Par ($25.00/share w/ a small premium).

I am also able to generate extra dividend income to offset the lost dividend income from my earlier stock sales (MRK, PFE, AGL).

FWIW - GMXRp up 47% as the death of GMXR was overstated.
