I am also watching FTR and CTL, but have not bought or sold any outside of reinvested divvies.

I'm on the fence wrt KMI as I already have KMP and KMR and it seems like every other article I read claims one of the three is a winner and the others are not...

My best spec play in the trading acct. has been CEN.to (CENJF), which has been very very good to me and I plan to hold into the $25-$30 range.

We should post our worries about FTR more often... up 8% as I type... and that's only on news that Piper Jaffry initiated coverage with a neutral rating?

I think FTR is way oversold... but still will be watching it closely as the markets can be stubborn when a stock has been punished/oversold for sketchy fundamental reasons, in this case the "feeling" that FTR is too reliant on land line revenues even as they focus on rolling out wireless and broadband to a largely captive audience/market out in the boonies where even satellite dishes tend to deliver variable service. Whenever I am in the boonies, everyone first tells me how they depend on satellite, but also complain about weather, wind and other things that affect their throughput more than the providers would claim.

Personally, we are CTL customers at our summer place in No. Mich. and I can tell you first hand that they are quite aggressively expanding the services they offer -- this last summer, we noticed quite an improvement in both cell and broadband services in our area by CTL.

Best,
Jim
