NOw let me share with you what these "blood sucking" capitalists here are doing besides enjoying all the benefits that the Republicans are fighting for them. These folks are laying off experienced workers. These are older workers and by laying them off they save a lot on benefits packages. I am a case in point. After layoff, we are finding opportunities for technology transfer via training and consulting projects in countries like India and China. A colleague of mine in my previous company got laid off with me and both of us have found these opportunities in China and India. And I just shake my head in the stupidity of these American capitalists. They are doing the blood sucking.

You wonder why I should complain since it is India we are talking about? Heck, I have deep ties here in the US, this is where I am going to die, this is where I am going to rely on healthcare during my old age. And most of all,, my kids have only known this country as their country. so if I have to give half my money away that I made here in order to ensure my kids live a better life, I would be very happy to do so. But I alone doing this cannot make a difference. We all need to do so. Because if a terrorist attacks a rich man's castle, that rich man would expect my children to go and defend this country against such attacks. So they have to pay "the user fee" (to steal a term from Reagan) Oh well, all these thoughts as the New Year slowly rolls in.

Happy New Year to you.
