its called zero percent c of i(zero percent certificate of indebtness). it is the destination of your funds after the bill matures. you can either choose your bank account or zero percent c of i. it does not give any interest, but the funds are guaranteed by the us govt as they are in treasury bills( i have called numerous times and have been told that). so the holding time after the initial 4 weeks is 0. you can withdraw funds anytime.
