A friend of mine sent me a chart (which is proprietary so I can't post it) of sentiment in regard to gold mining shares. There is such incredible extreme dislike of gold mining shares you have no idea. The POG is up about 7% this year, but the junior gold miners as represented in the GDXJ (ETF) was down over 42% entering today's session. I have been slowly accumulating the shares of GDXJ over the past week. I have not found anyone on SI who has any interest in these junior miners. Everyone is just waiting for confirmation of the bullish turn as they await the collapse of the Euro and a further impending collapse in the POG and its shares.

Maybe I just don't get it, but I see a severe correction in an ongoing gold bull market which has much further to run.

Extreme bearish sentiment in a bull market translates into a very powerful advance if one has the guts to buy what every amateur hates.

PS I welcome lower prices as I don't have a full position yet. Bring it on!
