Ok, once more, what did Barney Frank actually do? Saying things and doing things are not the same. Barney Frank made Bush and the Republican congress let Fannie and Freddie run wild, just by the shear force of his personality and his irresistible eloquence in saying stupid things? And anybody who invested their life savings in Freddie and/or Fannie based on what Barney Frank said is, well, really, really, really stupid. Or are you saying Barney Frank is responsible for all investment losses during the meltdown? Master of the Universe, or Scapegoat of the Universe? Seems to be quite a multifaceted guy, that Barney. Me, I'd still like to know something about what toxic assets the Fed holds and continues to purchase. I'm guessing getting anybody to take about that here is about as likely as getting anybody to talk about Republican candidates here, aside from disdain for Ron Paul maybe.
