Jim, Agreed...but the gist is that the situation for semi-equipment companies is that business is far from falling off a cliff in that region....it's a bread and butter industry for these countries and there is $ to be loaned abroad that will support the ongoing fab expansion.... With new technologies,that are crucial to maintaining a competitive viability, these chipmakers are in a damned if we do, damned if we don't scenario...I said it during the ugliness a few weeks ago and I still believe that this group will have a big role in leading the market back up. We shall see! I enjoy your quality postings very much... good trading, john
