I'm not here to apologize for Clinton (or Obama's) mistakes. Both are moderate conservatives who listen/listened too much to neocons in an effort to be bipartisan President's, not just tools of their party like GW Bush and Cheney.

Looking at complicated issues through the lens of history is easier than it was at the earlier time, and sometimes its painful exposure. Like WMD in Iraq, or blowing off the PDB that said Bin Laden was about to strike.

Clinton's biggest mistake was reaching across the aisle and signing Gramm Leach Bliley.
