It's 12 degrees down here so it's a bike ride in shorts for me after lunch.

How long a hike?

I haven't been in about six weeks, due to weather, a trip home, my social calendar, and a cold. My favorite hike this year was the climb up the Bright Angel trail at the Grand Canyon.

My other hikes this year were in parks within a couple of hours of NYC, so they weren't as scenic.
