Mitt Romeny didn't have a problem talking to the WSJ about taxes on Dec 24, 2011, so I don't know why you are advising me to stop talking about them here?

Mitt Romney is not above the fray and unlike many here, many other voters do not consider him the defacto nominee.

I'm amazed at the double standard being displayed here on this thread. If Newt Gingrich had suggested he is open to a VAT it would be talked about non stop for days.
