That's one of the reasons why I steer clear of Craig's List.

Precisely, Joseffy. In the old days, a robber would be killed on sight and that would be the end of it. Good riddance.

In today's crazy world, if a robber shoves a loaded gun into a taxi driver's face and demands money, the driver not only has to worry about being robbed and killed, he has to worry about numerous other things such as...

- "Am I handling the procedure correctly according to company policy or could I be fired if I err?"

- "What if my employer believes I staged the event? I could lose my job and face a lawsuit! There are no witnesses! Oh no!"

- "What if I wrestle the gun away from the robber and kill him? The police charge would charge me with murder! No witnesses to support my story! Oh no!"

- "The robber is Black and I'm White! If I resist, I'll be charged with a hate crime and discrimination, and I may be sued by the robber and my employer!"

- "I'm so scared that I just soiled my pants and my taxi seat! Will my company make me pay for the damages to their taxi? I wonder if they would declare it as totaled?"

- "Help! What should I do?"

I'm stone-cold serious. We live in a bizarre world where the unimaginable and bizarre are reality.
